Discover Pharmacy Museum – 3rd Edition “Education and Research”

Aromas Itinerarium Salutis celebrates the International Museum Day 2024 promoting and coordinating the 3rd edition of Discover Pharmacy Museum. 

The initiative consists of a chain of short videos published as reels of Instagram on the official IG account @aromas.itinerarium.salutis and created by members of the cultural route.

The initiative aims to showcase pharmacy museums and collections across Europe and bring the younger public closer to them.

The theme of this 3rd edition aligns with the theme chosen by ICOM for IMD 2024: Museums for Education and Research, involving young students and university students in creating the reels.

• Carmen Ferrandiz González, in collaboration with the Hispanic Pharmacy Museum-UCM @museofarmaciahispana (Madrid, Spain) – “The Apothecary’s Eye”.
• The team of the project “Digital Alliances in the Era of Smart Cultural Tourism: Safeguarding and Immersive Multi-Sensorial Storytelling in the (In)material Cultural Heritage of Higeia-Hispanic Rome (Hygeia-CHRH)” (Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación de España- NextGenerationEU). Directed by Ma. Luisa Vázquez de Ágredos Pascual (Universitat de València) and Gaspar Muñoz Cosme(Universitat Politècnica de València) @spezieria_santamariadellascala – “The virtual tour of Santa Maria della Scala historic pharmacy”.
