Regional route / Spain

The route of memory

The project, titled "Historical Pharmacies and Valencian Medicinal Gardens: Recovery and Valorization of a Unique Cultural and Natural Legacy," has been granted by the Generalitat Valenciana. Led by the Aromas Itinerarium Salutis Association, in collaboration with the University of Valencia, the Very Illustrious College Official Pharmacists of Valencia (MICOF), and the City Council of Riba-roja de Túria, the initiative focuses on developing and implementing the Route of Historic Pharmacies and Medicinal Gardens in the Valencian Community. This distinctive route showcases heritage sites that have been witnesses to a significant cultural legacy over the centuries. Designed as a "memory route," it highlights locations that once served as important pharmacies and medicinal gardens, such as Café Sant Jaume and the Martínez Cocktail Bar.
